Cannon Park has been the home of the Cairns Jockey Club (CJC) and Cairns Racing since 1911. Over the last 102 years the club has continued its commitment local racing with regular monthly meetings and three feature carnivals including Brothers Cairns Cup Carnival, Carlton Mid Cairns Amateurs and the new Melbourne Cup Carnival.
